You may know lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) for its relaxing aroma, but you can use it also to eliminate the pain of a first burn degree (the kind of burn you can have when playing a frying pan).

This oil not only accelerates the healing process and avoids the scar, but it also fights bacteria on the skin new and vulnerable.

Tea bags For minor burns, a tea bag can be very beneficial. Black tea has tannic acid, which helps to extract heat and burning from burns. Take three tea bags and put them in a cup of cold water; Use the water to cover the area of ​​the burn or put the cold and wet tea bags directly on the burn and wrap them with a piece of gauze.



Vinegar. With astringent and antiseptic properties, vinegar helps the treatment of minor burns and the prevention of any type of infection. Dilute any type of vinegar with water, use the solution to rinse the burned area. This works as an analgesic when covering the injured area with a cloth dipped in the mixture. Change the gauze for a new one every three hours.

Cold water. Let cold water run over the burn for several minutes; or place cold compresses on the affected area. This will help reduce the burning of the burn. Do not put ice, because it restricts blood flow by damaging wounded tissues.



Raw potato. Thanks to its anti-irritant and soothing properties, a slice of raw potato over the burn will ensure relief over the wound. The juice of the potato, in contact with the skin, will relieve the pain and reduce the possibility of having blisters.
