1. Baking soda
Urinary tract infections that last more than two days require medical intervention. Untreated urinary tract infections can infect the kidneys and become a much more serious problem. To help prevent a developmental urinary tract infection or remedy it by its roots, try adding a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water, as it may help relieve the infection. The bicarbonate neutralizes the acidity in the urine and accelerates the recovery.

2. Blueberries
Bilberries
Blueberries and blueberries or blueberries are from the same family of plants and appear to have the same bacterial-inhibiting properties. According to one study, cranberry juice prevents urinary tract infections. In the same way, eating these whole fruits has the same benefits.

3. Cranberry juice
Many studies have found that consumption of cranberry juice can help prevent urinary tract infections. Apparently, the cranberry juice avoids the bacteria causing the infection and also has a very mild antibiotic. Drinking about 4 ounces of cranberry juice a day can help keep the bladder free from infection. But if you tend to have UTIs or have one right now, try drinking at least 2 to 4 glasses of cranberry juice a day.

4. Pineapple

Bromelain is an enzyme found in pineapple. In one study, people with a urinary tract infection were given bromelain along with their usual round of antibiotics and got rid of their infection. Eating a cup of pineapple tastes good and can help you get rid of your infection.

5. Vitamin C
Some doctors are prescribing at least 5 g or more of vitamin C per day for patients who develop recurrent urinary tract infections. Vitamin C keeps the bladder healthy by acidifying the urine, essentially, because it prevents the introduction of potentially harmful bacteria.

6. Water
Water
If you tend to have urinary tract infections, make sure you drink plenty of water, about 8 glasses a day. You must be urinating at least every four to five hours. If you are currently dealing with an infection, drink water to fight it. Drink a total of 8 ounces of water every hour. This will help you eliminate bacteria.
